Calon Lān is among the most popular of traditional Welsh melodies. This arrangement is simple but beautiful, beginning with a lone trombone voice, expanding to a trio, before the tenor horn is featured. After a heartfelt but brief climax, the trombone regains the spotlight and the music ends in peace and tranquility.
