The JP176 is a well built and free blowing Eb soprano cornet. Passionate about developing affordable instruments that challenge the well-known makers within the industry, John Packer Ltd have developed a high specification soprano cornet with an attractive performance to cost ratio. Particularly ideal for use in training bands, the JP176 providers players with a soprano cornet they can rely on. With 1st and 3rd valve triggers and top sprung monel valves, the JP176 will equip players with an instrument suitable for both beginner and advanced levels.
The JP176 Eb Soprano Cornet is constructed from yellow brass throughout and features a standard cornet bell. 1st and 3rd valve triggers are featured as standard increasing ease of tuning. The instrument also includes 2 waterkeys to avoid blockages and top sprung monel valves providing a smooth and free action.
The JP176 is supplied with a JP mouthpiece and comes equipped with a high quality case for maximum protection. The case is lightweight, well-designed and attractively styled. Backpack straps and a comfortable shoulder strap are included as standard. The case also includes a small external storage pocket. This enables players to store small accessories and sheet music with their instrument.
Manufactured to a high quality standard as is expected with all JP Instruments, The JP176 Eb Soprano Cornet is guaranteed for 12 months against faulty manufacturing or materials and is fully tested prior to sale.
