Remarkable Curation

I almost didn't buy this because I already had the majority of the recordings in my collection but I am so glad that I changed my mind. I first encountered Bram Gregson soon after his arrival in London, Ontario and I befriended several of the men in LCB that have lasted to this day. I attended many concerts and witnessed at first hand the remarkable evolution of the band under Bram's guidance. The first CD is evidence of the culmination of that work (if it ever reached a culmination in Bram's persistent pursuit of excellence!!). Intrada Brass and BrassRoots provide insights into other aspects of Bram's considerable contribution to the musical landscape of Ontario and beyond. This project is a remarkable work of curation and a fitting tribute to a musician who made such an impact and left an impressively strong legacy. Thank you Bram and thank you to all involved in this project.
